National Hospital live-tweeted an Open Heart Surgery

National Hospital Abuja live-tweeted the surgery earlier yesterday on its official account. The operation was an open heart surgery (Ventricular Septal Defect Repair) on an eight-year-old patient. Governor of Adamawa state Jibrilla Bindow, states that the President deserves commendation

Governor of Adamawa state Jibrilla Bindow has stated that President Muhammadu Buhari deserved commendation for his directives that helped to achieve great success against the deadly Boko Haram sect, NAN reports. According to the governor, Nigerians indebted to President Muhammadu Buhari for his fast action in addressing the security challenges posed by terrorists. Bindow was speaking during his visit to Gombe state on the 20th anniversary of the creation of the state. He stated that the threat to lives and property had been considerably reduced. “Our President deserves commendation for his military exploits in fighting the insurgents. “Now, we can sleep both eyes closed and move around freely,” Governor Bindow told reporters. These are challenging times for the Nigerian education sector 11 million children are out of school across the country This was disclosed by Professor Abba Abubakar Haladu The executive director of the National Agency for Mass Literacy, Adult and Non-Formal Education, Professor Abba Abubakar Haladu has revealed that 11 million Nigerian children are out of school across the country.  Professor Haladu made the disclosure during a visit to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu at the Government House, Umuahia, Abia state. He also decried Nigeria’s dismal mass literacy record, even as he commended Governor Ikpeazu for his efforts towards curbing illiteracy in Abia state.
