Police officers in the Kogi state police command, yesterday arraigned Mohammed Audu, the first son of former governor of the state, Abubakar  Audu, at the Chief Magistrate Court II, Lokoja, for alleged robbery and attempted culpable homicide. Residents nab a member of armed robbery gang terrorizing their community in Owerri, Imo State

A suspected armed robber was given the beating of his life by a mob in Oduobi crescent, Ikenegbu in Owerri, Imo state yesterday Friday September 9th, after residents took the risk to challenge the gang of armed robbers who invaded the business environment in broad day light. The suspect is said to be among a gang of robbers who terrorize residents of the area which is highly commercialized.
