PRINCE CHIMA MEETS WITH ARO STUDENT LEADERS

Prince Ihebinandu Chima Emmanuel, a wealthy philanthropist and youth loving gentle man, last week meet with the various Executives of Arochukwu Students Association both Michael Okpara University and Abia State University Uturu. The closed door meeting which was held at Damgrate Hotels Umuahia lasted for about 5hrs and was attended by various calibre of people from the students wing: Comr. Samuel (NANS) member, Comr. Daniel (NAASS PRESIDENT) umudike chapter,  Comr. Blessing (NAASS WELFARE) and many other presidents from Arochukwu. Prince Chima while talking with the students representatives spotted out some of the basic needs of the Arochukwu Students and Nigerian Students at large and promised to contribute his own quota to the wellbeing of the students. Kaduna:Disguised Fulani herdsmen kill 85-yr-old man, 6 others

Herdsmen disguised as military attacked Passakori, Mile One, Ungwan Misisi and Tudun Wada of Kaninkon chiefdom in Jema’a local government in Kaduna – The attacks was said to have occurred on the night of Thursday, October 27 and seven people were killed, including a traditional ruler.Fulani herdsmen dressed like military kill seven people, Fulani herdsmen who were disguised as Army officers late on Thursday, October 28 killed about 7 people in different communities in Kaduna state. Kenyan maid kills her boss' 3 children in revenge  The maid was said to have strangled and killed her employer’s three children by hanging them on the ceiling and attacking them with a cleaver in their sleep. These are challenging times for the Nigerian education sector 11 million children are out of school across the country This was disclosed by Professor Abba Abubakar Haladu The executive director of the National Agency for Mass Literacy, Adult and Non-Formal Education, Professor Abba Abubakar Haladu has revealed that 11 million Nigerian children are out of school across the country.  Professor Haladu made the disclosure during a visit to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu at the Government House, Umuahia, Abia state. He also decried Nigeria’s dismal mass literacy record, even as he commended Governor Ikpeazu for his efforts towards curbing illiteracy in Abia state.  Public primary and secondary schools in Bayelsa have yet to resume for the 2016/2017 session – This because of the failure of the state government to settle teachers seven months salary arrears .  The teachers embarked on a strike at the end of the 2015/2016 long vacation A report by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) indicates that public primary and secondary schools in Bayelsa are yet to resume for the 2016/2017 session due to the state government’s refusal to pay teachers salaries for seven months.
